Hydrotech installed our irrigation system about 10 years ago and did a really subpar job. This came to light when we needed to install a backflow prevention assembly that they failed to install when the system was put in. Every licensed contractor we have gotten quotes from says that the way the irrigation system was put it in -hooking directly to the water main in the front of the house-is not the way it's supposed to be done. The hookup is supposed to be installed by the side of the house. Now they won't even give us a quote for installing the backflow prevention assembly. They want to have to correct their poor work. They have also started subcontracting out their turn-on and turn-off service. I do not recommend this company.
