SERV PRO dried out my carpet and pad after a minor water leak (several gallons) that spread into 3 rooms across two floors. I chose to go with a different service to clean my carpet. So, SERV PRO did remediation only, not restoration. The remediation was done in a timely manner and I am quite happy with the end result. I do not recommend SERVPRO because their pricing is not transparent. Their fan and dehumidifier rental prices are not on their website) and no written quote was provided. The office refused to give me a quote. The technician did give me an upper limit (verbal) and the final amount was under the verbal quote. Of course, I had to provide a credit card before the work commenced. I finally received my invoice 14 days after the work was complete. It was expensive due to the number of rooms involved. Before work commenced, I had to sign many forms on a laptop. I could not read the forms. I was not provided a hardcopy. The forms were emailed to me 10 days after the work was complete. The forms are not on their website. The technician said that my kitchen cabinets and granite countertops might have to be lifted if the bamboo kitchen floor buckled (the floor ran underneath the cabinets) and offered to perform remediation. I knew that was overkill and instructed him to dry me out only. At that point, I called my general contractor who said pulling the cabinets was unnecessary.
