G&S no longer services what they sell. They no longer service geo-thermal heat pump systems that they sell. Sad to see how far this outfit has fallen since Roger sold the business a few years ago. Go somewhere else for your HVAC needs.

I purchased through Costco a three-head ductless heating/cooling system from GS on 9/2/21. I was offered a better price if I waited until after the new year. Jeff the project planner came out on 2/8/22, installation began on 2/16/22. GS sent out four individuals, two electricians and two installers. One of the installers was new on the job. Glad to see that young people are attracted to this profession, the other was supposed to have experience. At 12:30 all four took off for lunch, the two installers came back 1 1/2 hours later. They left at 2:30. The two returned the next day and were not able to finish the job. The lead said that they would be back on Monday. 10:30 AM on Monday rolled around and nobody had showed up, so I called and left a message. Note that I was never able to speak to anyone, all phone calls went to voice mail. I got a call back a few hours later and was told that an installer was coming after 1 PM. The trainee showed up and left about one hour later, the job was not completed. On 2/22/22 the two installers came back and completed the job. Right away a code came on all three heads; P6. Next morning the living room temp. was down to 59ºF. I called, and left a message, again. The company sent out another individual that determined that the system was not working, and that I would get a call between 1and 2 hours later to set up a time. Nobody called. Next day, 2/25/22 I had to call, again left a message. Got a call back later that day, that the job planner will come out on Monday. He determined that the job had been botched and that two installers would come on 3/2/22 to finish the job. I asked that the two have experience as I did not want to go through another round of failure. On 3/2/22 Dave and Zack came around 9 and worked a long day to undo what the original two had botched up. They returned on 3/3/22 and finished the job. When the sales person came to bid on the job I was told that the installation would take 1 1/2 days, maybe 2. It took from 2/9 to the end of work day 3/3/22 to get the system installed and working correctly.

There was a slight miscommunication among contractor staff that required a return visit to correct a minor issue, other that that everything went very, very well. Great staff, great work, great end product.
