RUN! This place sold me 2 defective granite slabs for $2000 and refused to do anything about it when I discovered it. When it got to the fabricator, he informed me they was full of chips, cracks, and didn’t even match each other. I tried everything I could think of to plead for some kind of remedy from Granite Expo. The sales person kept consulting with the manager, but the answer was always no. Their receipt and even a sign on the wall say “no refunds,” but I didn’t think they would sell me unusable slabs. I had to throw away the $2000 worth of stone I’d bought from them and buy new granite from another store. But that was just the end of the story. The beginning was when I fell in love with this granite in their showroom. To buy it, made me pay in full, non-refundable, before looking at the actual slabs. Then they reluctantly let me to pick the ones I wanted, but the slabs were all leaning on each other so all I could see was a corner of it, and that was covered with thick, gray dust, making it difficult to see the color. I got some paper towels and water and wiped off the corner, but didn’t have any idea what the rest looked like. I asked them to show me the slabs but they refused. I chose two based on their corners and came back later to pick them up with my contractor. When we picked them up, I asked again to see the whole slabs. The warehouse workers spoke only Spanish, so I couldn’t communicate with them well. My contractor is fluent in Spanish and English and he also got frustrated with their reluctance to do anything, much less show us slabs. They did load two into the truck, and the contractor noticed some defects, but neither of us thought they’d sell unusable stone, so we thought the fabricator would work with it. We thought natural stone probably just looks like that. I didn’t think I had an option to return it or exchange it and they had my money. They wouldn’t show us any other slabs anyway, so I had no way to choose better slabs, if there even were any. We took the stone to the fabricator and he had the expertise to tell us no one should be selling this because it was unusable. I’ve now been to a legitimate stone store (MSI) and see that the slabs should have looked completely different. Granite Expo’s were cut wrong, full of flaws and not labeled to be adjacent parts of the same large stone, which is why they didn’t match. These people are just crooks. Also you cannot call them or get accurate information from them by email. You can only communicate with them if you go in person. I’ve never encountered a store like this that blatantly scammed people out of thousands of dollars. I don’t know how these people continue to do business, but please believe all the terrible reviews they’ve accumulated!
