Honoring my service contract the staff was efficient in checking in my machine and sending it off for repair; it came back still not working, which the staff checked before I spent time to go to the store. They sent it back and when it was finally repaired the staff patiently re-installed all the programs I requested. Computers are often frustrating, the staff at this Geek Squad location eases the pain.

Luckily we had an extra laptop at home when my main laptop needed fixing. The Geek Squad folks kept our laptop for over 4 weeks since they had to ship it out to some facility for repair after deciding they couldn't take care of it on site. They were supposed to call us if they were going to need to wipe the memory--but they didn't do that. Service was poor, though the people at the store itself were usually nice. I am not sure the insurance is worth the cost, though it saved me from buying a new computer, they didn't let me borrow another computer.
