I had a clinical encounter with a Johns Hopkins provider. Outstanding service. However, their billing practices are HORRIBLE. After booking this well in advance and providing all my insurance information, they DID NOT TELL ME THE VISIT WOULD COST ALMOST $600. I would have gone to another provider. Other Hopkins providers have always informed me in advance when there would be a significant bill. Sibley has a sloppy billing office. Avoid at all costs or get your cost estimated up front.
