Back in 2003 they installed a cedar fence for me around my entire back yard. Excellent! Useful life expectancy about 15 years. Still working just fine. Had a few repairs a few years ago. They showed how to avoid some problems. Told me I did not need repairs I thought I needed. Did some less expensive stuff instead. And for my neighbor they did some simple fixes on a gate instead of replacing it. Asked them to come out again this past week to replace a post. Also showed me a problem and will fix it cheaply. Also will tweak a couple gates. And lastly showed me some simple stuff I can do to protect the fence. Think this fence will go twice it’s expected life. I would recommend them for any kind of fence. They know what they are doing, are honest, have reasonable prices and provide very helpful info.

Customer service was excellent. Office staff delightful. The crew worked very hard. But the workmanship could have been better. The person who sells the work is not present on site when work is done. Homeowner has to supervise the crew. Crew's English skills not the best making this difficult. That said, The crew pleasantly made any needed corrections. When I emailed after the job was completed to report a couple of issues, they responded immediately and pleasantly and sent someone out to fix. Expert Fence price was significantly less than other bids.

Fantastic Workmanship! We recently had a new fence installed by Expert Fence of Alexandria. Can’t tell how pleased we are! The foreman, Jose, came out and conducted an estimate and provided expert advice on the best choice for our property, recommended the optimal wood, and suggested hardware. We took him up on his approach and scheduled an appointment. The team arrived, headed up by another excellent craftsman, also named Jose. They were on time and came with all materials required. They carefully demo’ed and removed our old fence, sparing our shrubs and garden without any damage. The new fence was expertly erected and looked great. They cleaned up and left the property in perfect shape. But wait - there’s more! After the first rainstorm, there appeared a mold-like stain on the gate. Don’t know how or why? I took a couple of photos with my phone and emailed them to Expert Fence. Jose called me and we talked. Neither of us knew why the stain appeared but he offered to send the team out to look at it. Team leader Jose came this morning alone in the truck with all of the tools and materials to rebuild and replace the gate! Working alone, he rebuilt and rehung the gate and again, it looks perfect!
