We have used Davis & Davis for some years without much problem, except for the curt office staff and annoying service call arrangements that others have mentioned, until we needed to replace an old system that was dying. Now we’re in the throes of a nightmare with no end in sight. The installation of the new system has been totally botched, with multiple mistakes even they admit to, and the system itself was installed with faulty parts that were not even detected by them. We’ve been sleeping poorly in the dead of July heat, had to repeatedly take off unplanned days from work, scramble to change work and travel plans for repeated return service calls that still haven’t fixed the many problems, and our electric bill is a disaster thanks to bad wiring. After two weeks and $13K, the system is dead again. The attitude throughout has been flat and defensive, basically saying, stuff happens. That’s true, but how a company responds to stuff reveals their merit. This response is a complete fail.

Installed new furnace and AC 2 or 3 years ago; now come twice a year to inspect systems. No problems, do good work and answer questions in forthright manner.
