John Clower himself came to our home after the technician from the company with whom we have a service contract told us we needed a new Spacepak system because our current one was "clogged with mold." The tech showed me photos he took which indeed looked pretty bad. I decided to get bids from at least two other AC contractors before purchasing a new system and having it installed. After looking through WCC, I called two highly recommended ac contractors. The first sent a technician to our home who asked a few questions but didn't bother to look in our attic and never got back to me with a bid. I was very impressed that John Clower himself--president of BMC Clower--came to our home. When I told him about the mold issue, he said that it could easily be resolved with a cleaning and the installation of UV lamps to prevent mold forming in the future. I was prepared to hear that we were going to have to spend well in excess of $10k for a brand new system, and was delighted with his assessment and recommendation. is now my new favorite ac contractor!
