This was a rebuild of the deck that runs the length of the house. The current deck is cedar and is 24 years old and the decking had exceeded it's expected life span. PJL replaced the cedar planking with ipe. As expected, there were a number of issues with the 24 year old deck components which also needed to be addressed. PJL did an excellent job of addressing these problem areas which included the railing, the stairs and the exterior stringers. Fortunately the bones of the deck were solid. We are quite happy with the work and would recommend them.
