David of Elite Stretch in Huntley specializes in orthopedic massage and works with a lot of athletes, but he also helped me when I was pregnant and somehow wrenched my neck to the point of being in excruciating pain and having no side-to-side rotation of my head. Being pregnant, I couldn't take muscle relaxants or effective painkillers, and I had already tried compresses and traditional massage. I couldn't drive a car or go to work. David goes beyond traditional massage and does resistance and stretch exercises with you to improve your range of motion without overextending you. In addition, he finds root causes of your muscle tightness which often lie in the tendons and/or ligaments. After just one session with him, the very next day I almost felt back to normal. Can't recommend him enough! And despite his specialized expertise and great results, he is relatively affordable (it cost me less to go to him than it would have to go to a typical spa where they do prenatal massage).
