Owner cannot be trusted. My mother had J&J Roofing total roof replacement. 10 years later the inside of the house wall, lathe and plaster walls, were starting to crack and look discolored. I called the owner that argued the old house did not have insulation and that was the issue. It was also not under warranty after 13 years, he said. A few more years later, the wall fell and caved into the house. Since the house was lathe and plaster, it took a long time for small drips to be absorbed by the old walls; if it was drywall, the leak could have been obvious and immediate damage and could have been rectified sooner. The old house with plaster walls, was absorbing and drying. I asked the owner if he had added baby tins along the outside wall and shingles, he said yes. Liar. None were found. He blamed an old house and poor wall insulation. When the wall caved inside, I went the building supply to get a recommendation for a roofer and the owner happened to be there, I immediately confronted him at the store who made an appointment to say he would resolve, he did not want me to continue to make a scene and air my complaints aloud, he never showed up for the appointment.
