You sit out in the open with at least 10 other patients, while an assistant does prep work on you (heat, cold, whatever). The practice seems to be more interested in how many visits your doctor has allotted to you (the more visits, the more $$$$ they make). They don't provide exercises to do at home. They made NO improvement to my injury - I ended up going to someone for therapeutic massage and SHE cured my problem. Insurance doesn't pay for therapeutic massage, which is too bad. Insurance DOES pay for PT, which is why they are so money-grubbing about the number of visits. I was very disappointed in my experience. It felt like an enormous waste of time and the effort of getting there (because I couldn't drive at the time).
