Discovered Vertical Connection through a Google search and noted the very high rating, which is well-deserved. The entire process from selecting the flooring to the installation was smooth, efficient and painless. We started by visiting the showroom and with the help of the knowledgeable and pleasant Steve, the sales rep who helped us select flooring to our liking. He cheerfully answered all of our questions and concerns and provided good information. After depositing a down payment we later received a call from Vikki, the coordinator who first scheduled a time for another employee to do the measurements and later an installation date. She took very good care of us as well and followed up with phone calls and texts. Finally the installation was done over a two-day period. It was done by a two-brother team who were also employed by the company. I believe one them is named Ted. Their work was fantastic! High attention to detail and thoroughness. After the original carpeting was removed flooring was installed in the the living and dining room, staircase, kitchen, bathroom and adjacent hallway. As part of the job they sprayed anti-fungal chemical on the sub-floors and installed many screws on them as well. They were also friendly and answered our questions. They worked abut six hours each day without a break (I suppose this was their preference). They arrived ahead of schedule ready to work. They also cleaned up and neatly stored their equipment after the first day's work. We are very pleased with the finished installation and have received compliments from others who have come to our home. Our only complaint is that they did not warn us of the dust that would be produced during the work. Unfortunately the dust collected on the kitchen counters and objects. We were able to remove the dust but it was irritating to have to do this. In any case I would hire the two-brother team again. Next time we will be prepared and cover affected areas with large plastic sheets. The overall charges seemed reasonable. I suppose you could find another company that charges less but I doubt you will get the same level of customer service not to mention the expert craftsmanship of the flooring installers. Highly recommended!
