Since Parker Pearce took over the business from Service Experts I noted a decline in customer service from the scheduling department. The technicians are usually very good and explain the work they do clearly and thoroughly. I am not savvy enough to know if the equipment they say we need to replace is really needed or if the prices are fair, although repairs are costly, the service people seem to be above board. My big issue is with the office staff and scheduling appointments. I no longer schedule my annual heater and AC checks online because for some reason the info is not consistently communicated to the office staff and it is hit or miss whether they will send someone out. Now I call and ask that an email confirmation be sent so I have a record of the appointment in the event no one shows up at the appointed time. Sometimes the confirmation isn’t sent and I must call back again to request it. The office staff is sometimes brusque and not interested in hearing about glitches in their system. We have a service agreement with them to annual heating and AC maintenance. When we get really to buy new units we will definitely shop around.
