My orthopedist has referred me to NovaCare's Greenbelt office several times through the years for various injuries, most recently after knee replacement surgery. I've worked with several physical therapists there and have found George Bassey to be one of the most knowledgeable and experienced. He listens carefully, explains things well, is patient and supportive, and has an excellent touch with massage and physical manipulation. I've never had to wait for treatment even when he is juggling multiple patients at the same time -- he stays on top of what each of them are doing and what they need from him at any given moment without short-changing anyone on attentive care. He's great about assigning exercises to practice between visits and after discharge from their care. My orthopedist has always been impressed at the speed and completeness of my recovery and I know it's due in large part to having a good physical therapist and following his care plan thoroughly.
