I have used Montgomery Orthopaedics for many years, mostly at their former location near my home in Kensington, MD. They have relocated to a much larger operation, with much better parking, farther down Connecticut Avenue from Kensington to Chevy Chase. Since this review concerns physical therapy, rather than the orthopaedic surgeons, I will focus on that. I managed to tear my quadriceps tendon off my left knee in August, 2018. It was repaired by a wonderful orthopaedic surgeon and, after months of at-home recovery, I began a six-month series of physical therapy sessions. Montgomery Orthopaedics’ physical therapy facility, one floor up from the doctors’ offices, is a wonderful facility. The physical therapists and staff were skilled, warm, friendly, and truly concerned about my well-being and recovery. I am not a young man, but after my six months of therapy concluded, I was able to walk without a brace and with minimal knee-pain. Uphill was easier than downhill and upstairs was MUCH easier than downstairs. After the surgery I though I would never be able to walk normally again, but thanks to the outstanding performance of the Montgomery Orthopaedics physical therapists, I can. I give them a top recommendation.
