Was able to come immedately to front door lock problem. Solved the issue, which was not really the lock, and door working well. Gave advice as to options for the future.

Quick response to a locked screen door that prevented exit from the house. Got the door open quickly, after two hours of tinkering by the homeowner failed. Identified the maker of the failed lockset, the needed parts and the delivered cost at the initial visit. Very informed about alternative solutions. The expensive repair part-set allowed the door to return to full function without the tribulation of installing a replacement door.

In May 2023 I needed to have an old security deadbolt lock replaced and another front door cylinder installed and rekeyed so both locks would use the same keys. Unlike many others, Mike does not charge for evaluations and came to our house, examined the locks and explained the options. I wanted to use Multi-Lock and Mike provided two cost options. Mike was clear that the lower cost option lock was a very good, but I wanted the newer improved model. Mike was able to schedule the work a few days later, showed up on time, and efficiently completed the job. I thought that his prices were very fair and reasonable. He is also a nice guy. I highly recommend Mike's Locksmith.
