They did put in what appeared to me to be great footers, but I was concerned about the slope-the whole purpose of the retaining walls was to allow the drive to cut in through the hill to minimize the slope in any way possible. The sub argued that he was right and I was not too worry--those are famous last words.
The upshot is a driveway that I can't drive up if there is any slick precip. Within 3 weeks of the pour cracks had started to form. They insist the concrete is structurally sound because of the rebar, but did offer to use a concrete dressing to stop further cracking. That was in the spring. The concrete has continued to crack, in all directions now. Eventually there will be enough cracks that all the rebar in the world won't hold in place. Obviously it still has not been resurfaced, either. It looks more and more as if I'll need the entire driveway torn out and re-poured. Yeah, I'm not impressed with Amorim Concrete at all.
