Veterinarian made a diagnosis without using proper diagnostic tools. Veterinarian was obviously trying to be the boss. The pet parent is the captain of the pet’s healthcare team, not the veterinarian.

We were very impressed with AllPaws when we had to put our older cat down, due to dentition damage and nutritional loss. They were supportive and sympathetic with Ava as well as us. Our strongest recommendation!

My cat needed to get a blood test. He is a biter. They gave me gabapentin, which is a sedative, and instructed me to give it the night before and the morning of. This was very stressful for my cat and it added extra expense to getting his blood work done. Later, at a different clinic, he had to get some bloodwork done. They simply used what they call the "party hat" and then draw blood that way. My clinic uses the exact same procedure to draw blood from biters. So my opinion is that if they aren't comfortable dealing with a cat who's a biter, what else aren't they comfortable with? This procedure is very simple, even if the cat is protesting. This is why I don't recommend them.
