For some reason this office doesn't operate the same way that their Marlton office operates. There is a problem with the phone number that I have for this office. When you are lucky enough to get ahold of someone they are extremely helpful and nice but it takes months to get an appointment even when you're a regular patient. The psychiatrist that I've been to doesn't have much of a bedside manner. When I saw her I was trying to tell her about the problems that my child was going through but it felt like she didn't want to hear any of it from me all she wanted to do was look at my child's charts from her therapist, who works for the same company but her office is in Marlton and it honestly feels completely different because my child's therapist and the entire office is organized and EVERYONE is not only on top of their responsibilities but they are positive, helpful, and always care about taking care of the patience coming in, but when I take my child to the psychiatrist it feels much colder. It honestly feels like she wants to look at the computer, ask her questions without telling her how you feel or getting too deep into something because "that's what her therapist is for" so all she really does is look at the therapists work and recommendations and then prescribe whatever medication that is necessary. I'm not saying that she's not competent because she absolutely is and she knows her stuff but she's very cold and she should work on that especially when you choose to work with children. They should feel comfortable and safe instead of intimidated. As for that particular office I believe they need to work on their communication and that's a very important thing when you're dealing with therapy.
