The rep I spoke with is actually out of Princeton, NJ and a very likeable SALESMAN. I know they get higher pay with sign on bonuses (commission, whatever), but they have jobs and they are supposed to be helping others find a job. (That is supposed to be their job...or maybe not!) I had a sense that the rep was just looking to increase their pay and could careless if I found suitable re-employment. And my case in point was that the position I was seeking was filled, no problem, but said he we get back to me if similar positions opened up closer to my desired location and I believed him and guess what (?), I found 2 positions maybe a week later on another job site (took the time to verify on their website...jobs were real!), but did I receive a call? No, and in my opinion, the reason was I didn't want to be "Temped Out" (like a you know what!) and although I am not a legal scholar it only took me (maybe) 10 minutes of scanning the agreements he wanted me to sign to know this was not what I wanted and wasn't favorable to me. I wanted to be interviewed for the "temp to perm" positions (would have signed in that case) but that wouldn't make enough money for the "firm" so I will yell it from the roof tops not to associate with Accounting Principals (part of Parker + Lynch...BTW), they don't have ANY principals! Oh and forgot to mention that I was supposed to get a call back, but got an email instead...just had that feeling he didn't want to talk with me again (even though the convo seemed ok...remember salesman!). I was supposed to get call so it gave me time to print, sign, and drive 45 minutes for a face-to-face meeting.
