I must be missing something because most people give high rating to this place on Yelp and similar rating websites. While the instructor is pleasant and seems to know what he's doing (probably the only positive aspect of my experience with this company), I swear most of this place's patrons will look at you as if you don't belong there.... as if you're an uninvited guest even though you're paying your way to be there just as they are. I'm not a kickboxing connoisseur, so maybe I don't know better.... but the second you walk in, you get metaphorically punched in the nose with the smell of sweaty feet... and knowing that several of their exercises involve placing your bare hands on the mat where the sweaty, probably fungal-ridden feet have been makes my stomach lurch.
I've also had very negative experiences with the third party company, NACEFIT(?) that handles their contracts. I started with this company over the summer when they were having a 12-week weight loss program. Let's just say, I was stupid to not comply with the terms. I didn't go 3Xweek as part of the contract, and therefore am stuck with a monthly fee until the contract runs out. OK; my bad. But another let down was how intentionally withheld payments from my account, yet charged me late fees as if it was my own personal mistake.... not to mention that every one from this company that I've spoken to has been RUDE!!!!!! Also, they didn't hold their end of the deal either. I was under the impression that there would be more one-on-one and personalized coaching, as well as periodic dietary tips sent through email. I've gotten neither.
