I had Precision Air install two HVAC units at my old house. Both times the quotes were right in the middle, but they included more than others (like turning vanes in my ductwork). Their service contract prices are also very reasonable. They are now servicing the system at the house we just bought as well.

(I am locked into my contract w this firm to keep my extended warranty, so please don't publish my exact situation.) My relatively-new electric heat pump had problems since mid-2018, w the AC failing to cool and heating costs going sky high. I didn't make a fuss early on because I was dealing with family crises. Each time the techs would come they would check for leaks; it was always "this time I think we found it" while the years went by. Last Dec they opted not to do the job that might have fixed things despite the weather being mild; I finally put my foot down, and they replaced the lines connecting the inside and outside unit in Apr. 2021. Part of the problem is that their techs are not supplied w leak detectors and must buy their own (hence many don't),
