The first time I ordered a cord of firewood from them, I measured it to ensure I was getting what I was paying for. It was only 2/3 of a cord. I explained the dimensions of a cord — which are defined in Virginia state law — and the employee stared at me blankly. She said, "I don't even know what a cord is." I used them a second time, because the price is so low and I hoped the first time was a fluke. Again, I measured and ended up with about 2/3 of what I was supposed to get. The guy got downright angry, telling me that everyone thinks they know what a cord is because they Googled it. He finished the job, muttering the whole time. The wood may be cheap, but that's because it's not completely seasoned and they try to shortchange you. Do not use this service.

We ordered firewood during a busy time after the holidays and it was delivered the following evening. Very businesslike and fast but not the cheapest.
