Took three calls from me to him before I could get it scheduled. Two of the times, I got him on the phone, told me he was in middle of appraisal, and that he would "call right back". Never heard back.
FOr the appraisal itself, he used comparables that were out side of my neighborhood when there were perfectly legitimate ones within the neighborhood. All of the comps were more than 1 mile from our house. Several of the comps were not even in the same city, but in a neighboring town.
We had two appraisals done, his came in $300,000 less than the second, and $300,000 less than similar appraisals done in 2011 and 2009.
Needless to say, we are very dissapointed in the level of effort and quality of work put into this.
