The Best School I've ever attended. In fact, I've taken my entire family to Master D for training. I've known Master D for nearly 10 years and have attended his personal training, group training classes and competitions. He offers more than just improved fighting skills. He offers Character Building through improvements in confidence and judgement while helping build mental discipline. I have benefited from working with him by gaining the confidence to know my most lethal weapon is my mind; while retaining the assurance that when rarely needed, my feet and fists can be called upon as advocates.

Our review of Dietrich's is based on two years of experience. Mixed experience:

The adult classes, taught by Mr. Scyoc, were great. I was never in a class that I thought was too big and there was a good camaraderie between students and teacher if you needed help with something.

Children's classes are OK. Ninja classes are repetitive and do the same games over and over. Kids seem to have fun but not sure how much progress is made. Dragon classes were large so at any given class, kids may only get one time at something. Overall though, Master D has a good philosophy on defense and was great with the kids and I was looking forward to having my son continue in the Dragon program with his sister.

However, we left the dojo before that could happen because of Ms. Smith. She was completely unprofessional and we couldn't take her inconsistent personality any longer. What I noticed was that it wasn't just inconsistent from time to time but from family to family. She was cold, rude, moody, belittling, unsympathetic, etc. to us.

Other issues: 1) Disrespect of our time when it came time for meetings that we had scheduled. We had several meetings cut short because Master Dietrich had double-booked or was busy talking to other customers during our time or just didn't bother to show up on time; 2) Poor management. From having to wait 5 months for sparring gear to arrive, to not having the right belt for my daughter on her graduation from Ninja to Dragon (a significant event for a 6 year old!)
