I want very much to recommend this old firm but regrettably I cannot. Our 2 year old carrier furnace stopped heating on a cold snap last winter and we called Bishop for repairs. They came a total of 3 times charging for each visit (over $500 total paid). First we were told the problem was fixed then afte the first 2 go -rounds sadly they diagnosed the problem as our ducts were too hot since they were too small. We were Shocked by the diagnosis since we've lived here 25 years and our old furnace worked just fine until the end-- never failed. So after Carrier blew us off we desperately called in another firm specializing in commercial HVAC and presto the diagnosis was the the blower motor was failing intermittently and causing the ducts to heat up and the "limit switch" to turn off the furnace . Replaced the blower motor under warranty and everything was fine for the rest of the winter. Bottom line is I like the people at Bishop but don't trust they're skill for tricky problems.
