I received 3 quotes to replace my rotting wooden deck, one level up, with a composite one. Pro Deck Installers had the best combination of price, materials, and start time. They did not try to enlarge the project beyond my requested size and needs, and they handled all the permits, inspections, and such. They brought down my grill and fire pit from the old deck, removed and disposed of my old picnic table and umbrella at no extra charge, and brought the grill and fire pit back up when the deck was done. The new deck is beautiful: Trex Transcends composite decking in Tiki Torch with a black railing and Tiki Torch cocktail rail, matching 52" wide steps with lights as required by code, and sturdy wood frame below the deck. They started sooner than required in the contract, and while the build took on the longer side due to the July heat, they finished before the contract start date. Many neighbors have admired the deck and even expressed jealousy. I would recommend Pro Deck Installers to anyone.

Pro Deck Installers just replaced our old wooden deck (about 8 ft. above ground) with a new Trex deck. Gerry, the owner, came to the house to show us samples and discuss design options. That was extremely helpful to us because we had never done a deck replacement (two of the other three companies we dealt with did this initial planning phase by phone). He took a lot of measurements, explained the whole process to us, answered all of our questions, made a number of excellent suggestions and agreed to install the new deck a few inches higher than the old one to reduce the step down from our family room. Within a few days he sent us an estimate and statement of work. His estimate was at or below the others, even using upgraded materials compared to the other companies. Definitely the best value. He secured the county building permit and I got the HOA approval. Almost immediately after that, they started the project (well ahead of schedule). The work crew (usually three) were friendly, experienced and hard-working. They tore down the old deck, dug and poured the concrete footers, built the support structure and installed the Trex flooring and railing components in less than 5 days (in oppressive heat and humidity). Their workmanship was amazing. I'm a very detail oriented person but I couldn't find a single thing wrong with their work. The support structure is really impressive and the Trex components all fit together beautifully. This deck is not only beautiful, it's made to last. I strongly recommend Pro Deck Installers.
