I received quotes from two companies for a sealed combustion gas insert fireplace. One of the companies, upon coming out to inspect my fireplace, said the nature of my granite surround that wraps into my fireplace opening didn't allow for their product to be installed. Guys in the office at Bromwell's similarly told me my surround would be a problem. However, when their technician came out to perform a chimney inspection he looked at the opening and was confident it would work. Turns out he was correct. They were able to install the unit without any issues. My installation required a custom surround for the opening. That worked out perfectly as well. The installer walked me through the operation and the remote controls, and when he left I felt confident I could operate the system. We've used the unit (Kozy Heat Roosevelt 29) a number of times since we've burned it in an it operates well. Overall, I was completely satisfied with the job Bromwell's did.
