I had used Duvall's to cap my gas and was happy with that. I scheduled HVAC maintenance and, based on my experience I cannot recommend them. 1) When I scheduled maintenance, it was about a six-week wait. They do not do reminder calls. The day of the appointment, no one arrived during the scheduled window. I called and I was not on the schedule, the person who made the appointment never put me on it. The techs were able to fit me in and were very nice but I had taken the day off and then had to spend even longer at home waiting for them. 2) The techs who did the maintenance said everything looked "great." Three weeks later on a Friday evening, my HVAC stopped cooling. I sent an email that evening asking if someone could come the next day. The next morning, I called and got the answering service. The tech who had done the maintenance called me back and said that to come out it would be a $250 emergency fee, plus whatever service was needed. I asked if I could schedule a time during the week and he said I had to wait until Monday to talk to the scheduler. He said that on Monday she would call everyone who had contacted them over the weekend. I declined the emergency service and, that day, I was able to schedule another company to come Monday. 3) that Monday, the scheduler from Duvall's responded to my Friday email at about 12:30pm, asking if I still needed service. Either they were inundated with contacts from the minute they left Friday, or she did not respond to requests in order. I don't know when they could have come out, I told her I had another company coming. 4) the other company came out and found that the refrigerant was almost at zero. It is possible that when Duvall's did maintenance the refrigerant was fine and sprung a bad leak after that, but also possible that they didn't even check it. I don't know. But the unit is too old to do the expensive repair so I will be replacing it. Duvall's is not one of the companies I'm asking to give me an estimate.

Jay and his team replaced our 30 year old hot water heater and 50+ year old hot water boiler, and did an outstanding job for a very fair price. They were timely and professional, and the new equipment works great. Very highly recommended!!
