Highly recommend. We called them this summer when our A/C stopped working, expecting them to say that our heat pump needed to be replaced, since it was already several years old. Instead, they identified the part that had gone bad, had the part on hand in their truck, and replaced it on the spot. And our A/C now works flawlessly. Had the same experience with them a number of years ago with the same responsiveness. And we've gotten next-day service every time. No unnecessary repairs and a pleasure to work with.

We have used Duvall services several times for plumbing repair as well as heating and air conditioning issues. On each visit their technicians did a good job on repairs and took the time to answer questions and fully explain things to us which was very helpful

Do not recommend due to lack of quality, accountability, and trust. After a couple of jobs performed in an acceptable manner, I called them for doing maintenance on two HVAC units. Soon after, I noticed that the condensate had starting coming out of secondary drain, went up to the attic and saw that the drain pan was full. Whatever the tech did for 'preventative maintenance', the result was he created a new problem for me. I called Duvall's immediately because I was deeply concerned about it. The tech was very defensive, showed no accountability or concern, and attributed the issue to all non-existent or improbable options, such as – the filter, unit must have frozen, etc. On this call, I had clearly stated that I should not have to pay more to correct this issue which had happened due to the maintenance visit. Couple days later, another tech arrived, promptly diagnosed the main cause of the issue to be due to an incorrect grading of the primary drain causing the condensate to backup in the pan. Yet, I was taken aback at the end of the visit that I would be charged an additional $125 for his trip to address the issue, besides what I had already paid for the initial maintenance visit. Note that this attic unit had been running fine for years till the "maintenance" visit, and the only way the grading would have been messed up would be during the previous "maintenance" visit. After this visit, I wrote a detailed email to Duvall's explaining the sequence of events, how the maintenance visit created a new problem, and my discomfort about being charged and additional $125. Got no response. The second tech, during a follow-up call, wanted to charge me the $125. I again expressed my discomfort with the charge. For most of the 6 minutes of the call, the tech talked over me, got angry, and told me not to call them for any future work. Given this experience I had already lost all trust, not just in their abilities, but also to be accountable to make whole their customers in case of errors.
