I highly recommend the services of the Home Health Options Group based on personal experience. My wife and I are responsible for the welfare of our cousin, who now requires full time care. Before we called Home Health Options, we went through a number of care options in various settings. Our cousin is very demanding, and previous health care settings were not a good match. We were running out of choices. We called Home Health Options, and to our surprise, we were able to talk in depth about our situation to Dan, the owner of the company. He was patient and understanding. He made us feel that there was hope for our situation. We discussed a range of options, including full and part time health care assistance. More importantly, Dan talked about his company’s commitment to compassionate and individualized care, based on our families’ unique needs. We were impressed with the company, and it was an easy decision to have Home Health Options provide care for our cousin. We immediately felt assured by the professional and compassionate care provided by the Home Health Options team. The quality of the care made a world of difference in the outlook and attitude of our cousin. She now engages with her caregivers and has developed a special bond with her aide. She is now calm, and has a positive outlook. What a difference the Home Health Options team has made! Our relationship with our cousin has improved too. We are so happy and relieved. We are indebted to all of the staff at Home Health Options. Their care has greatly improved the quality of life of our cousin. We recommend the company without reservation. I only had a few days to arrange for home health care for my mom coming out of the hospital. I found the positive reviews for HHO here on Checkbook, gave them a call, and together we were off to the races. Dan, Victoria, and Debbie were fantastic. They had good suggestions, we worked through what could be done from a practical perspective, and they took really good care of my mom for the next several weeks as she recovered.

Home Health Options took care of my mother not only in her home, in the hospital and also after she was moved to a nursing home toward the declining days of her life. Always having an aide from Home Health Options (HHOG) was not only a comfort but ensured peace of mind when her daughter, a nurse, was not available as she also had to continue working. Not only did my mother have dementia but her overall health worsened over the years particularly after several hospitalizations. Having HHOG aides at the bedside when hospitalized also ensured that when in the hospital, she was fed in a safe manner-not rushed, but she was also kept clean and dry and repositioned in bed to keep her skin intact. Also if a change in her condition occurred, the aide was there to notice and alert the nursing staff and sometimes the family. Overall having the aide and most often the same aide who knew my mother gave comfort to me and my family as we recognized that she would recognize my mother's needs and respond with care and kindness. I referred HHOG to not only my aunt who had the same aide for 8 years, my aunt's best friend who had her aide for about 3 years, and a friend whose mother need care at home. Another positive about HHOG is that a RN does initially go out and assess the situation, write up a careplan that meets the needs of our patients and follows with periodic visits during the time the aide is with our loved ones. Dan, the administrator also assists in making sure that the aides that are caring for our loved ones are screened and have the abilities to do the care required by each patient. All were grateful for the referral to Home Health Options.
