I cannot recommend this company strongly enough. I found this company through my neighbor who was very satisfied. This company was a subcontractor recommended by the energy audit company that my neighbor used, and I thought that was a good sign. Josh came out quickly and efficiently communicated to me what measures would be worth doing and why, and what would not. He also told me that my home would qualify for a rebate from Dominion Power, the amount of which would depend on the reduction in air leakage shown his blower door test done before and after the work was done. It takes the contractor some time to complete the rebate paperwork, so I appreciated that he offered to do it. I agreed to have insulation added and penetrations air sealed in my attic and basement rim joists. The crew was clean, quiet and did such a great job that my air leakage was reduced by 46%, earning me a big rebate from Dominion Power. I felt the drafts in my house stopped immediately that day so it is much more comfortable inside my house. I am guessing the investment will pay for itself in 5 years or less. I'm so happy to have reduced my carbon footprint while getting all these benefits.
