We’ve used Donmar for about 15 years. They recently replaced our 13 year old heat pump with a very efficient, extremely quiet Carrier unit. I competitively priced the job and Donmar came in between $2,000 - $4,000 less than anyone else!

Based on information in Consumer's Checkbook and from friends, I sought bids from four companies on a Carrier heat pump. Donmar Heating and Cooling offered the lowest price but did not include the longer labor warranty of another company. When the owner agreed to match the services of next closest competitor the deal was closed. Instillation began on time and Bryan and Carlos took obvious pride in their work. They were both friendly and happy to answer my questions. This heat pump runs much quieter than the unit it replaced and I am very pleased with both the equipment and the company.

I am a long term customer with a service contract. Techs are knowledgeable; most are friendly and provide helpful advice on maintaining systems. Service contract price seems high and sometimes during semi-annual inspections, techs recommend preventive repairs that could be unnecessary.
