Two years ago, I moved to the Loudoun area after having lived in Fairfax County all of my life. I was going through a divorce and have two small children that were raised in the Fairfax County public school system as well as a private day care in Falls Church that I loved. I was convinced that I would never find any day care that could come close to meeting my expectations and the care that my children were provided by these schools. I visited several day care centers in Loudoun - many of them I liked and some of them I didn't. When I went into the Kinder Care at Cascades, I was on referral of a friend of my sister in law who took her children there. From the moment I arrived, I was put at ease. Their entire staff was friendly, welcoming and treated me as "family" without making me feel like I was being "sold" on their center. The director at the time was Adrienne Bellato and her assistant director Miss Kathy instantly squashed any uncertainty that I had about their ability to provide my children a safe, loving, nurturing and developmentally challenging environment. I knew this was one of my favorite of all of my day care visits. I then met Miss Louisa who would be my daughters teacher. I had about 10 minutes of personal time with her and immediately felt that she was genuine, sincere and loving. I was very candid with her, relaying my fear that with our recent separation and move to a new town that my daughter may need some extra TLC during her transition. Long story short, after having met these women, I had decided I had to look no further. My daughter attended Kinder Care for just over two years until she started 1st grade. I always regarded the Kinder Care staff as my daughter's "other" mothers. I could not have asked for a more perfect fit for us. Kinder Care provides outstanding educational challenges along with fun activities (my daughter did a cooking class every Friday), day trips and strong bonds between staff and students. I always knew that my daughter was safe and secure during the day. The best measure of their success were the days I would go to pick her up and she didn't want to leave. FIVE STARS!! You will not go wrong trusting them with your children!
