Mr. Mohammed El-Ghoul, Energy Consultant, performed an energy audit for me back in March 2026. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, efficient, and timely in every way. He provided clear steps to make to make my older home more comfortable. I highly recommend this company and Mr. El-Ghoul's energy audit. I apologize for not giving this recommendation earlier. If you think you might need an energy audit of your home, and if it is 15 years or older you probably do, there is only one person and one company you should contact: Mohammed of Home Energy Saving Solutions. The reviews for the company in Washington Consumers’ Checkbook were the best I have seen for a company, and I wondered if HESS could be as good as its reviews. I am here to tell you that the answer to that question is a definite yes. Mohammed performed an exceptionally thorough examination of all aspects of our house that could either be an energy drain or where we could reduce our use of electricity, including our crawl space. He used both a calibrated blower and an infrared camera for a thermographic inspection of all doors. Exactly what Checkbook said should be done. After he completed his inspection, he gave us a brief rundown of what he had learned, and followed up with a 17-page detailed report the next day that addressed each recommendation to improve the energy efficiency of our house listed in order of importance. And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that Mohammed has a delightful personality, is friendly, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. To summarize, why go anywhere else when you can go with the best?
