I had Maco (Joe Maines) look at two projects: Removing a flagstone stoop that was sinking to install a concrete footer, and then rebuilding the stoop, and repairing damaged/flaking parging on an exposed basement job. He quoted a price lower than both other contractors I had look at it, and did what I consider to be a superlative job on both projects. Joe and all of his employees were friendly and easy to work with. They started work right away and finished as quickly as possible. They went above and beyond the scope of work in a few finishing touches and did an excellent job keeping the worksite tidy and limiting the mess to their work area.

I would not hesitate to recommend Maco to a friend or use them again for another project.

I hired Joe Maines and Maco Masonry for a small repair job, i.e., to fix the cracking exterior of the concrete slabs of both my house and garage. Joe responded promptly, charged a very reasonable fee of $400 total for both jobs, and had an excellent work crew that knew exactly what they were doing. I was particularly impressed with the care his crew took in keeping the worksite very neat; they shoveled excavated dirt into buckets or onto plastic tarps and hosed off any walkways or steps that had gotten dirt on them. The finished concrete job looks great, and I am very, very pleased with the end result. I give my highest recommendation to Maco Masonry.
