Performed annual tune-up of oil fired hot air furnace. The tech arrived at the appointed time and performed the work efficiently and professional. I am a repeat customer and will continue to use their services.

I called Peninsula after a heat pump failure. The tech arrived and noted he was in my neighborhood 2 years before in another trade. He then released a lot of refrigerant into the atmosphere by mistake and said he would replace it free of charge. He diagnosed my problem, noted it would likely cost $1000 and it centered on the indoor unit. I received the written estimate for $2600 for work on both the indoor and outdoor units. I had to call twice to talk to talk to him about the disparity. He blamed the "girls" at the front desk and said a new estimate would be coming. The new estimate excluded the outdoor unit but the price of the indoor unit repair doubled. The new total was $1900. I called another company out and had the repair completed for $250 and it would not have been fixed by Peninsula as he missed the failed component and would have replaced working components. Only a capacitor in the outdoor unit had failed. I called them and all that resulted was--we are sorry that happened and I will take you off the schedule. So disappointed in Peninsula.
