I had low oil pressure and a fault code. They diagnosed this as failing oil pump. They did this repair. I get it back and still get the fault code. I bring it back and have to pay for another diagnosis and a recommended Engine computer firmware update. They tell me everything is fine. One day later, fault code again low oil pressure. I was then diagnosed over the phone that my cam shaft bearings are likely leaking and this is a know issue with my engine. Very expensive repair. I was recommended to run it until it fails and buy a new engine. Just keep clearing code. Really? Also the VLOM system was not functioning (turning off 4 cylinders to improve economy). They told me a sensor/filter in the intake manifold was likely the issue there. So, I run the truck for a couple thousand miles checking oil often. I go to change oil and filter to find out the filter was loose covered in oil. I unscrewed it with my bare hands. This told me a couple things: they did not install it correctly the first repair, and they did not check the oil pressure on the second visit because it requires the oil filter to be removed. I changed the oil and filter, and behold, magic everything fixed and no error codes since.
