We needed to remove some limbs from our neighbor's large pine tree growing over our roof. After obtaining our neighbor's permission to limb the tree and to use his property to do so, I met with Andy, Blue Ribbon's Tree Service owner and certified arborist, who determined which limbs needed to be cut and gave us a quote for the work and a schedule when they could do the work. His experienced crew came out, one of them climbed the tree with a chain saw and using a system of pulleys the ground crew gently lowered the large severed limbs to the ground, where the limbs were then fed into a chipping machine for disposal. After cleaning up my neighbor's yard, you couldn't even tell they were there. Recommend Andy and his crew to anyone who needs tree work done.

This company is professional, organized, and has great hard-working smart polite staff. This is the third tree service-landscaping company I have used in the three years we have lived here since we moved from New York and they are the best. They have several certified arborists, including Ian, who came on time for our appointment and he checked our trees, several of which had significant damage from the recent dome-cyclone storm. We also had a single 120 foot Douglas fir located about 10 feet from our kitchen window and on the south side of our house which is the direction of most winds making it higher risk for falling on our house per Ian's experience. He recommended it be removed, but said first we would need approval by the Bellevue City Council before we could proceed. He helped us get the review process started which took about 6 weeks. About a week after receiving the city council approval, he brought several men to remove the fir tree (involved impressively organized teamwork), removal of several severely damaged trees, and pruning the others. The nicest thing besides their extremely knowledgeable work, was they clearly enjoyed their work and worked together as a team. Highly recommend. Very reasonable price.

They were the high bidder of three quotes and I took them because the arborist has provided no cost advice on my trees for years. I feel good about the choice as the work was performed excellently. The advice on getting a city permit was excellent.
