I don't understand how these clowns do business. This is just beyond me. In early 2022, Avalon inspected the foundation of my house, and I was talking to their owner (Roger) about making repairs. Roger said the inspector was not fully qualified to assess the needed repairs, and he promised to stop by himself to make a better assessment. But then he disappeared - numerous emails and dozens of phone calls remained unanswered, and at some point I stopped trying to reach them. Now all of a sudden, one of their sales people reached out to me, and asked if I want to pursue the work we discussed ... right, 4 years ago. He had some lame excuse for their four-year long radio silence. I thought I'd give it a try, and the sales guy promised their VP would call me to discuss the necessary work. Of course, I never heard back. I emailed them a couple of times, and finally got this masterpiece answer: "we have lost interest in pursuing your project" (verbatim). Well, what can I say ... this company clearly does not need new business, that is for sure. They also seem determined to alienate their old faithful customer base. I find this behavior outright unbelievable. I will surely take my business elsewhere, and you should too.
