The Checkbook platform doesn't allow me to edit my prior review, so I have to post an update. Recently, the company's attitude has changed dramatically. The owner visited my house with a large crew, conducted a comprehensive survey, and provided me with a very comprehensive review of options. Every company has good times and less good times, and it is how they handle the latter that defines the company. I feel that at the end of the day Avalon handled an unfortunate situation fairly and respectfully, and based on their recent performance I would actually recommend them going forward.
