Auxiliary panel in kitchen: Distribution wiring, were visible, were found to be adequately installed and in serviceable condition.
When experiencing problems with power going off as soon as 2 appliances were used, an electrician found the following: “3 Circuits were being double lugged, which means you have 2 wires (circuits) going into 1 breaker. The panel itself also had 2 open slots, BUT the buss bar was broken at these slots so you were not able to add any breakers
And:
“The Main disconnect and wiring within the panel appears to be in good condition with circuitry installed and fused correctly”
Electrician's findings: The breaker was badly corroded. It appeared that an old/used breaker was installed, as the connecting wire was not corroded at all.
