Angela and Wendy gave our house a "DEEP clean" yesterday and we were very pleased with the job they did and how our house looked when they were finished. There is a list of exactly what Total Clean's "DEEP clean" includes on the Total Clean website. Total Clean recommends a "Deep Clean" for an initial cleaning, which our home definitely needed - we had lost our previous housecleaning service during the COVID-19 period. Subsequently, for ongoing services, they do a "STANDARD clean" (also described on their website). For a team of 2 cleaners, Total Clean charges $97.00 per hour for the 2-person team, and estimated it would take the team 2 to 2-1/2 hours for a DEEP clean of our 2 bedroom, 2 bath home and cost between $194 to 242.50 based on the $97 per hour for the team and how long it takes the team to complete the cleaning. You can see exactly what a DEEP clean vs STANDARD clean includes on their website. Their two-person team was scheduled to arrive at 8 AM (with a half hour leeway, so 8:00 to 8:30AM). Wendy arrived at 8:05 AM and began working; Angela arrived at 8:20 and began work. I wrote both of their start times down. They finished at 10:50 AM, and I wrote that down, too, then calculated how much time each spent working, and how many total hours they worked. Then I calculated what I thought it should cost at $97/hour for the 2-person team and it came to $254.63. Then I called their office immediately after Wendy and Angela finished to arrange payment. I talked to Jesus in the office and told her what time each girl arrived and when they finished. Jesus calculated how much I owe, which was exactly the amount that I had calculated, and we arranged that I would mail them a check for the service (which I prefer to credit card payments). I was interested in getting an estimate for ongoing service, and Jesus said she would talk to the ladies and see how long they estimated it would take to clean our house on an ongoing basis with their STANDARD clean (described on their website). I got an email that afternoon with the estimates that weekly cleaning is ESTIMATED to cost $145.50 per visit (1.5 hours of 2 people cleaning); bi-weekly services estimated cost was $169.45 per visit (1.75 hours of 2 people cleaning), or monthly services $194.00 per visit (2 hours of 2 people cleaning) at their rate of $97 per hour for a team of 2 cleaners. Overall, it has been a very good start, and we requested on-going monthly service (instead of more frequently to keep the costs down, because Total Clean costs close to double what our previous service did), Our previous cleaning service - which we lost during COVID) charged about the same for bi-weekly 1-1/2 hour 2-person team service as Total Clean is charging for 2 hours once a month. It turns out that Total Clean schedules it's monthly service every 4 weeks, which actually makes sense in terms of scheduling, given that they offer monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly services. We asked if we could have the option of switching to bi-weekly service if monthly didn't work out and Jesus said "absolutely."

Very professional staff. Insured & bonded. They are trustworthy and honest; I have frequently found small amounts of change, probably from sofa cushions, on a table after their visit. THey could easily have pocketed the coins and I would never know. Very pleasant to talk to. I always leave home when they arrive, I trust them to do the job well and honestly.
