Completely clueless staff and record keeping. Arrived and refused to do work several times due to poor communication with it principal, Sears Home Warranty.

Stay away! I called Sears Home Repair Services to repair the freezer on my refrigerator not knowing that Sears is contracting appliance repair to A&E. The technician came out for a $99 diagnostic fee. In addition, I had to pay $340 in advance including $70 for the part (which was mailed to my address). They tried to sign me up for an ongoing repair contract with A&E for $45 dollars a month, which I declined. They set up a follow-up appointment for 9 days later--bad enough when it's the freezer that needs fixing. The day before the appointment I received a cancellation notice without any explanation and gave a number to call. I called and reached someone in Manila who was hard to understand. He could not give me an appointment for the installation of the part and repair until fully a month after my initial call. So: No freezer for an entire month after shelling out $340. I informed the man in Manila that I wanted a full refund of the $340 I paid minus the part, which had already arrived. He said that would not be possible. That I still would need to pay the $99 for the diagnostic fee. A&E breached the initial contract. I'm taking A&E to small claims court as a matter of principle.

Work was done under an extended manufacture warranty. It took three times ordering parts to get the right diagnosis. Service techs were very friendly.
