Had to deal with A&E Factory because of a Sears Protection Agreement that we purchased for our nine year old washing machine. They were horrible. Repairmen were dirty, damaged the paint on our walls, and one of them had no idea how to work on a Samsung washer even though we provided information on our type os washing machine when making the appointment. Just a terrible experience. I would never recommend A&E or Sears.

Completely clueless staff and record keeping. Arrived and refused to do work several times due to poor communication with it principal, Sears Home Warranty.

Stay away! I called Sears Home Repair Services to repair the freezer on my refrigerator not knowing that Sears is contracting appliance repair to A&E. The technician came out for a $99 diagnostic fee. In addition, I had to pay $340 in advance including $70 for the part (which was mailed to my address). They tried to sign me up for an ongoing repair contract with A&E for $45 dollars a month, which I declined. They set up a follow-up appointment for 9 days later--bad enough when it's the freezer that needs fixing. The day before the appointment I received a cancellation notice without any explanation and gave a number to call. I called and reached someone in Manila who was hard to understand. He could not give me an appointment for the installation of the part and repair until fully a month after my initial call. So: No freezer for an entire month after shelling out $340. I informed the man in Manila that I wanted a full refund of the $340 I paid minus the part, which had already arrived. He said that would not be possible. That I still would need to pay the $99 for the diagnostic fee. A&E breached the initial contract. I'm taking A&E to small claims court as a matter of principle.
