Home Depot installed 11 Sequel (their top line) windows in my house. 5 of the 11 were not supplied to the specification in the contract; however, the installer had first ripped out the old windows and so there was no option but to install the incorrect windows. The work was done in June. The operations manager assigned to me promised installation of the corrected 5 windows in 3 - 4 weeks (early July). It is now almost mid-October, and after numerous phone calls and writing letters to Home Depot, I still do not have an installation date. Home Depot failed to return numerous phone calls in which I tried to get status and to urge them to complete the job. They would make promises to call back with information or a schedule, but repeatedly failed to do so. They finally came out the last week of September, but due to rain were unable to perform the work. I expected them to contact me to re-schedule almost immediately, but in the 11 days since, they have made no attempt to contact me. I like the windows, but Home Depot's service has been extraordinarily poor and I would not recommend them for any at home service. I can accept a manufacturing defect PROVIDED the company who is my contractor does its best to rectify the mistake. In this regard, Home Depot has failed.

Exceptional in offering information regarding options. The actual installers were efficient and follow up was appreciated. Good communication evident even though it is such a large vendor.
