Furnace wouldn't fire, they came right away, super tech fixed quickly. Use them for annual service, highly recommend.

We have had several issues with this contractor over the years but we stick with them because they are one of the few that understand our complex furnace and its electronic controls. Recently they (probably inadvertently) caused a part to become stuck and this resulted in an expensive repair. Very hard to say if this was their fault.

A porch wall heater was installed by MacFarlane on December 15, 2014. Two months later, I began renovating a bathroom and my plumber noticed leaking from the wall heater's new piping in the basement. The water was dripping onto the Burham heater. I called MacFarlane and a technician came by and tightened the joint. However, the leak continued. On March 20, 2015, a section of the pipe was removed and an additional repair made by MacFarlane.

During the annual pre-season heater checkup fall 2015, my regular plumber found damage to the boiler from the leak which kept it from igniting and functioning.

I mailed a copy of my plumber's invoice of repairs to MacFarlane and asked that we be reimbursed for the damage to the boiler. According the the invoice the compensation would've been $629.00.

I never heard back from MacFarlane.
