We have used Cedillo Home and Garden on many occasions and have been very happy overall with the quality of their work and their prices. We would recommend them highly. Our only negative experience was when they moved some bushes that struggled in their new location. Luis Cedillo (the owner) was offended when we suggested that perhaps the work had not been done properly and refused to take any responsibility, which technically was his right since we had no warranty for the work. Still, we were surprised that he reacted as negatively as he did. If you hire them and have any problems, use a soft touch with Luis and you'll be fine.

Name of firm: Cedillo Home and Gardens. Owner and manager is Luis Cedillo. He has helped me for 20 years beginning when an ankle injury first kept me from doing my own work, and other contractors provided only driveby fertilizer and weed-killing applications but no mowing. Cedillo does everything: for me, besides mowing the lawn (I spread my own fertilizer), he has worked with a landscape design firm to lay out a large flower garden and to buy and install all plants, mulch all garden and shrubbery in the spring, cleanup front and back yards in the spring and leaf raking and removal twice in the fall, including cleaning gutters. He has removed three trees and replaced or added a number of small evergreen shrubs and holly trees. He charges a bit more than others who offer fewer services, and I try to hold basic costs down by declining most help with spreading chemicals, weeding, and small pruning jobs. Cedillo will also remove snow in the winter (a God-send in a major blizzard, but much too expensive otherwise), and has added concrete and ornamental paving services also expensive, but very high quality (I am thinking of using him to replace a small driveway next year.)
