I purchased a 3200 kw Generac generator, which required 3 separate visits for nonstarting and replacement of failed parts--(1) Magpickup, (2) external fuel regulator, and (3) starter motor, within about the first 18 months. Two months after installation of the replacement fuel regulator (supposedly under 2 year warranty), I was mysteriously charged $420, and I called to find out why. Apparently, Doug Boyland (President), who personally added the charge (and refused to speak with me on the phone) told his receptionist to tell me he had installed a "different" regulator than my paperwork showed, which had a shorter warranty period. I asked her for a copy of the shorter warranty documentation, which I still haven't gotten after a month of waiting. The 24/7 "emergency coverage" is a joke--We were without power a whole Sunday, despite my repeated calls during that day which were never answered; then it took me 2 weeks of repeated calls to the company to find out why they never answered my emergency call, and the work foreman (Ed Parker) said the technician on call simply didn't pick up the phone. Look elsewhere for better, more trustworthy service if you can!

This was an E/G failure due defective regulator. A little expensive, but got the right diagnosis and had the right part on the truck. Good outcome.
