Tails of the City MD is now "Wild at Heart Pet Care", actually -- in 2017 it split off from the original Tails of the City, which used to have MD, DC, and VA branches but is now just one business. Both as Tails of the City MD, which we started using in 2010, and now Wild at Heart, the cat-sitting we've gotten has been great--no problems at all, always available when asked (although we do ask well in advance most of the time, and sometimes on busy holidays they do shorter visits rather than our normal 45 minute ones). Took good care of our belated cat that had diabetes, came twice a day to give her her insulin shots and even helped us realize she was sick before we started insulin therapy. Now they are being very attentive with our cat that has early-stage chronic kidney disease. Owner Kathryn of Wild at Heart was a vet tech before she started running this business, and she does many of the cat-sitting visits herself.
