Ron was recommended by my real estate agent. Big mistake, he was more worried about the deal going through, and therefore convincing me that I was responsible for up to $6K in repairs, despite raising concerns. He missed several very obvious problems that have cost me over $5K and counting. I'm still paying for things he missed. I wished I would've checked checkbook magazine before but we were on a very tight deadline. Not recommended!

Ron Roman did not find a number of problems with our property at the time of the inspection, which we found out about after living in the house. He was also one of the more expensive inspectors.

At the townhouse to be purchased, at the appointed time of the inspection, the principal, Ron Roman, surprised us by springing on us an agreement we had to sign, the gist of which had the effect that his service (and quoted price) excluded inspection for non-structural defects and code violations. Since the property was not ours and access was given to us only by appointment and the closing date was imminent, we had no time to cancel the appointment and find someone else who would give us the total inspection. As He did not report many defects such as ceiling dry wall defects, front pavement brickwork damage, existence of and inoperability of keypad-based entrance door locks, damaged fence door latch, etc., we are faced with unexpected repair costs and hassles. Had we a complete inspection report, we could have sought appropriate redress from the seller.
